Amazon Location Service adds GrabMaps in Southeast Asia

GrabMaps for Amazon Location Service is available in the Asia Pacific (Singapore) region

Amazon Location Service adds a new data source in Southeast Asia, GrabMaps, offering maps, search, and routing. Developers building applications in Southeast Asia can display their data on local up-to-date maps, use search boxes to locate end-user addresses and points of interest, and calculate routes using real-time traffic conditions.

GrabMaps, an enterprise division of Grab, is built on the principles of community-based mapping that leverages Grab’s consumers, merchants, and fleets of drivers and delivery partners. GrabMaps extracts data on a daily basis from millions of orders and rides, with real-time feedback from partners on traffic, road closures, business address changes and more.
